Both elevators were purchased by the Columbia Basin Trust in June 2018. They were previously owned by Ray Gauthier. The roofs and windows will be replaced and they will be evaluated for future use.

The elevator refurbishment started in 2021 and is scheduled to complete in 2023. The former AWP elevator received new siding, upgrades to the foundation, and area grading to improve drainage.
