Until recently, the large wooden grain elevator complex in Biggar, Saskatchewan was used by Viterra. The complex consists of a central grain elevator together with a large annex and several steel bins.
Biggar is well known for its motto “New York is big, but this is Biggar.”
There is also a large Prairie Malt facility in town.
Viterra opened a new concrete grain terminal in Biggar in June 2022, replacing the wooden elevator complex.
