Hagen was the last stop on the CPR Prince Albert Sub before it connected with the CN Birch Hills Subdivision a few miles north of the current town site.
Built in 1930, the elevator retains its original Pool lettering. At one time it shared the site with a UGG elevator that had been moved from the nearby town of Fenton.
