There is a concrete grain terminal just west of Valparaiso, Saskatchewan. This elevator was originally built for UGG and is now owned by Viterra.
Valparaiso used to have a pair of Cargill grain elevators, as seen in this Flickr photo from 1997.
The grain elevator at Valparaiso was sold to Cargill on January 23, 2026, as part of a divestment of elevators required for the acquisition of Viterra by Bunge.
