Lethbridge

The city of Lethbridge, Alberta has three large grain elevator facilities.

The Alberta Terminals grain elevator was built in 1931 and has been owned by Cargill since 1991. This 32,000 tonne capacity terminal had its rail yard upgraded to be able to store 134 cars as part of a $20 million refurbishment in 2018. It is served by Canadian Pacific (more information here).

Parrish and Heimbecker

Lethbridge also has a Parrish & Heimbecker grain elevator off 13th Street North. This elevator was once labelled as Ellison’s Flour.

Richardson
