There is one grain elevator remaining in Shonts, Alberta. This elevator was originally built for the Hannan and Carver Grain Company, then acquired by the Northern Grain Company, which was acquired by the Alberta Wheat Pool.
Later it was sold to a private owner, Killearn Farms, but this article says they aren’t the current owner.
There was another grain elevator in Shonts, built by Security Elevator in 1909, which is now located in Calgary‘s Heritage Park.
