The town of Viking, Alberta has a concrete grain elevator in town, owned by Providence Grain Solutions.

Parrish & Heimbecker plan to build a new concrete elevator in Viking, with a capacity of 46,000 tonnes of grain. It will have a 150 rail car loop track and a 25,000 tonne fertilizer shed. Ground was broken in November 2017 and it should be in service early in 2019.
