D’Arcy, Saskatchewan has a rather unique arrangement of grain elevators. The former Saskatchewan Wheat Pool “B” grain elevator, a large ex Pool crib annex, and a farm elevator all stand on a farm on the west edge of the town, but none are connected to each other.
It appears that the ex Pool elevators were moved here from their original site on the railway line.
D’Arcy is named for one of the Fathers of Confederation, Thomas D’Arcy McGee.
