Elrose

The town of Elrose, Saskatchewan is located south of Rosetown and north of Swift Current. In 1980 it had at least two grain elevators, a Federal Grain Limited elevator and a Saskatchewan Wheat Pool grain elevator.

A photo from February 1977 shows three grain elevators in Elrose – two UGG and a Pool.

The (last?) UGG grain elevator in Elrose was demolished on June 24, 2014.

Also note that the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool grain elevator has two low annexes on one side. In a 1960 photo, the Federal elevator also has two annexes on one side.
