Reliance Grain was a subsidiary of the Peavey Company.
In 1923, the Province Elevator Company purchased the Reliance Grain Company.
At its peak, Reliance owned 254 grain elevators.
In 1948, the United Grain Growers Inc. purchased 110 grain elevators from Reliance. Others were sold to the Manitoba Pool and Pioneer.
