There was a small grain elevator in Winkler as part of a row of storage buildings. It was owned by Cargill and was formerly known as Kroeker Farms. It was removed sometime between September 2010 and August 2012.
There is a large Viterra grain elevator west of Winkler at Agassiz.
Pioneer had a grain elevator in Winkler. It was originally Winkler Flour Milling and was owned by Parkland Grain after Pioneer sold it. It has been demolished.
Winkler is served by the Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) on its La Riviere subdivision from Winnipeg to Morden.
