Halifax

There is a large concrete grain elevator in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It is owned by the Halifax Port Authority and operated by Halifax Grain Elevator Limited. It has a capacity of over 5 million bushels (140,000 tonnes of wheat) and can discharge up to 50,000 bushels/hour to ships at pier 28. It is also connected to nearby Parrish & Heimbecker Milling.
