Scottsburgh

Brown grain elevator on the prairie
Pool elevator for Scottsburgh, SK, 1980s. Contributed by Gregg Babish.

The photo above shows a lonely grain elevator lettered as Saskatchewan Wheat Pool #546, in Scottsburgh, Saskatchewan. The elevator consisted of elevator, with another turned to be used as an annex. It does not appear that the elevator was in use when this photo was taken.

The railway line was built by the Canadian Northern Railway, and became part of CN when the CNoR was acquired by the Canadian government. It was served by what became the CN Gravelbourg subdivision.

Scottsburgh is no longer on a map but appears to have been at 50.17, -107.12, midway between Hodgeville and Neidpath.
